I love the bold colors and graffiti look of these batik charm squares. I bought three packs to make a table runner and a bag. They look great paired with black or any of background colors.

My Imagination goes on ...
I became interested in this print collection after a trip to the East Coast. Traveling through Buffalo, NY I saw some interesting architecture from the Skyway Bridge. I saw this collection and thought it could be used to represent some of the old industrial buildings on the route. Also the older buildings with their ornate facades. I could see using trims and embellishments to illustrate their structures. And the graffiti prints in the collection would fit right in. Because the prints are a more somber coloration things like traffic lights would stand out in bright colors ... maybe even as sequins. Yellow taxis, a bright bus, and theater lights would catch the eye. Or as a night scene one could have roadways going here and there, with their lights glowing in the almost dark. I do like this fabric!
